so, i may or may not be lacking in my attendance points the last couple of weeks concerning classes..............
here is my reasoning that makes it okay:
A - i love geography, and all these classes are 100 classes, minus a few. thus, i have already read/been taught/been taught repeatedly what i am being taught in these classes.
B - i have a prospectus, a 10-15 page research article to go along with that prospectus, a 10-15 page paper about my family's migration patterns from my grandparents to me, a 5-8 page paper about the mammone phenomena in Italy, and a wee little paper about Latter-day Saint journal entries, all due by the end of next week. i think that's it......... basically, i can either work on these papers or sit in class and hear what i already know, repeatedly.
C - i can also sleep in with the window open. let me just tell you about how awesome this is. i just 'borrowed' a blanket my brother brought down with him before he left vale for logan. it is one of those fake, crushed velvet blankets that are the SOFTEST things invented. here is what i do. i put that blanket down to lay on, on top of my already ultra cushioned mattress topper, and then use my great grandma's really heavy quilt that is like three quilts in one in size, and then snuggle down with three pillows, another blanket just in case, and of course ET. who wouldn't want to enjoy this amazingness? you can understand why getting up in the morning is so difficult. oh, and i never get too hot, because the window is open. i feel like i am sleeping on top of a giant tiger. mmmmmmmmmhm.
D - spending time in logan, perhaps friday thru monday, is just way too much fun to not do.
all of these excuses are valid............. right? okay no. i am paying a lot of money to go to school, and skipping class is wasting that money. so from here on out, no more skipping class... except maybe the friday before halloween. and on EXTREME situations in the morning when my bed is ULTRA comfy.

ReplyDeleteYou are HILARIOUS! But, I can totally understand the ultra comfy bed rationalization!
